...being that's its Monday morning, we thought we could use a little jolt to get the week moving. Brooklyn's Weird Owl might do the trick. Or it may just rewind the weekend... The sludgy/pscyh found on the band's debut, Ever The Silver Chord Be Loosed (out on Tee Pee Records), might have plenty of vintage strain running through its veins, but has a pulse of its own courtesy of solid songwriting chops that burrow the songs in yr brain. Hoping these guys head west soon...
