Blank Dogs

...we're always intrigued by the lone gun in the wilderness, crafting some strain of pop music that we've all been waiting to hear. In the case of Blank Dogs, the highly elusive Mr. Blank Dog tends to revel in his anonymity, preferring instead to direct listeners to his music rather than his back story. Trust us, it's for the best. Yr best served to take refuge in his expansive discography. These tracks are clearly grounded in the new wave/post-punk realm, conjuring up the ghosts of Chrome and Joy Division, but the melodic hooks burst through the lo-fi murk, sinking in so quickly you barely have time to respond. Blank Dogs are soon to release Under and Under, the follow up to the highly touted On Two Sides album...
