Factotum Tapes to Issue First Release
...as seems to be the trend this time of year, cabin fever has inspired yet another new enterprise: Factotum Tapes. Emerging from the ashes of prodigious noise label Epicene/ESR, Factotum Tapes promises that all releases will be on....yes...cassette tapes. Being the analog junkies that we are, we absolutely stoked. Although the first release is slated for February, details remain elusive. Rest assured that we're on top of this one and will keep you posted as information becomes available...
Labels: Epicene/ESR Records, Factotum Tapes

that's just stupid, a real waste of time. really- who the fuck has a cassette deck? reminds me of my friend charley's ridiculous idea to DJ w/2 8-track players.
There seems to be a loads of cassette only labels popping up all over the place. I'd love to think it's a natural reaction to the suffocating overtly technological age we're forced to live in, but in reality, it's smells more like another wave of pointlessly inclusive hipsterdom. Ultimately though, if the music's good, it's good, if it sucks, it sucks. How it's delivered won't really matter much.
"How it's delivered won't really matter much."
-...except that only few can hear it.
c'mon, you all have a cassette player. don't be a cock.
YR ALL A BUNCH OF DOUCH BAGS THAT DON'T LISTEN TO NOISE ANYWAY, SO WHY THE FUCK DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO SLAG OFF THIS LABEL. IT'S PROLLY NOT SOMETHING YOU'D BE INTRESTED IN ANYWAY... AND IF YR INTO NOISE, THEN YOU DEF HAVE A TAPE DECK. FUCKIN IDIOTS
