...Dayton label Squids Eye Records is going all in tonight with a remarkable showcase at Pearl. In anticipation of their debut full-length, The Infinity Gate, psych-proggers The Sailing will release The Floating Continent EP this evening. Also on the bill are hardcore outfit Dead By Wednesday (from New Haven, CT), Ceschi Ramos (who will be making his first appearance in Dayton and will also be fronting Dead By Wednesday), Brian Baker (of Grizzzzy Bear), and The Gluons. As if that's not enough, Squids Eye mainman Tony Gilbert and members from the bands will be spinning their favorite tracks in between the bands. Consider this a notice that you'll probably hear a few leaks from the Squids Eye camp this evening. You know this is gonna be a huge night, so do what you have to do to be there....
