The Royal Alberta Advantage

...with the weather improving so much so early in the season, it's really making us eager to get out of the city for a minute and out into some field somewhere. Yeah, spring has that kind of effect. Coming across The Rural Alberta Advantage over the weekend only intensified that desire. Drawing expansive soundscapes that mirror their homelands of central Canada, RAA harnesses an unbridled passion coupled with a reflective streak that seems born to roam the ranges but is equally content to rest in the meadows for a moment. Now hailing from Toronto, RAA has been gaining momentum as of late on the strength of their self-released Hometowns album and a great live show.
